Richard Pinel

Richard Pinel began his musical career as a chorister of All Saints' Church, Northampton where he also learnt the organ. Having spent the greater part of 12 years there in one capacity or another (including two periods conducting the choirs) he went up to Magdalen College, Oxford in 2002 as the Organ Scholar. Richard's music has been performed up and down the country. His advent piece 'Drop Down ye Heavens' has been recorded on a CD of Chrismas music from All Saints (available on Lammas Records)and was recently heard by HRH The Prince of Wales. As a recitalist Richard has been heard from Blackburn to Bristol and his accompanying has taken him even further afield including a concert in Milan Cathedral and tours to America. Richard has just finished a year playing the organ at St George's Cathedral in Perth, Australia and is about to embark upon a year as organ scholar of St Albans Cathedral in the UK.
