I (David Sims)(aka Simsy) have had a homepage here since February 2005 and this is where I post the rock music written jointly by me and Oli Groom (aka Dennis) from my school. Oli is aged 16 and David is 15. I live in Bedfordshire, Oli in Buckinghamshire and we compose jointly by sending each other parts of songs between our computers. Oli plays bass guitar, piano, electric guitar, keyboard and can sing a bit (but don't encourage him). I play piano, keyboard, trombone, guitar and cornet. Oli's music is influenced by Radiohead, The Beatles and The Smiths, and his lyrics by Joy Division & Radiohead. My influences are The Verve, Blur and The Beatles (although our sound is a bit like Supertramp to Oli's ears!). Our most iconic/favourite albums are The Bends by Radiohead, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. We hope to compile an album in the future. Please leave a review on our songs as we can use audience feedback to help us to continue writing quality scores. All of our scores are good but the ones that we reccomend are "I Will Grow Wings," "Fear of the Dark" and "Can You Notice Any Difference?,", but our best is "Liberty,". Also check out our branch over into classical with our "Of Life" concerto.

If you ever print off one of our pieces, please inform us by mail, because there is nothing more frustrating than getting a print out and no news on the use of the piece, if any!
