Lives in Lancashire, United Kingdom
 Happily married to Susan with one daughter named Charlotte. Started in a Halton district brass band, spent many pleasurable year in vine brass (Arthur and his merry band). Went to Barnsley college studied Ba (hons) in Band Studies. Joined the Army on cornet and changed to French Horn. My spare time when not working is mixed between writing music, conducting local bands (preston concert band) and exploring the countryside walking. I have written a small number of musicals. I like to draw upon the folk traditional tunes around the country but I have written in many styles but prefer to write tuneful pieces so the audiences will want to listen to them.
I currently conduct preston concert band. My other interests are walking, computers and setting websites up.
