I am a graduate of Central Christian College of Kansas (A.A.) University of Northern Colorado (B.A. and Ed.D.) and Denver Seminary (M.A.). I have served as the director of the vocal group Sonlight Singers, an English Handbell Choir, several Trombone ensembles and various children's choirs. In addition, I play tenor trombone and the upright string bass. I have played in numerious concert bands and local symphony orchestras. I have been an Associate Professor at Azusa Pacific University and an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Christian University and Denver Seminary. I have a deep interest in writing congregational songs with depth of harmony (not just guitar chords and unison lines) and a depth of meaning in words.
I also have an interest in writing concert band, brass quintet, trombone choir, trumpet choir, and brass band pieces. Feedback is always appreciated at allbrass@gmail.com |
