Philip Rice is a composer of vocal and instrumental works. His portfolio currently contains over 130 completed pieces of music ranging from art songs to symphonic tone-poems.
He currently studies Music Composition and Theory at Central Michigan University under David Gillingham.
Philip has won numerous awards for his compositions, among them the Chanticleer Student Composers Competition, The Kansas University Choral Society Composers Contest, and several consecutive awards from the SibeliusMusic.com chatpage hosted competitions.
Philip's works have received performances by a variety of ensembles in the states and abroad.
