I am fortunate enough to work for Lincolnshire Music Service as a tutor with special responsibility. I am a first study guitarist, but composing has always been an interest and I am trying to find more time for this - having thrown out the telly! I did well with composing in my student days. At the moment, I am trying to revise earlier compositions between writing new ones, then I shall begin on uploading more recent songs and recordings. What I wrote as a student was out of time in the sense that modern classical music was then relentlessly atonal and I like expressive melody and harmony. I am happy to arrange both vocal and instrumental music if time permits! Any genre within reason including jazz, rock, pop and classical. Hobbies? I write poetry (three books in print) and used to be seriously involved in politics as a parliamentary candidate for the Lib Dems - but no longer - my music, job, persian cats, friends and family here and in Canada are my priorities these days.
