Hello! I am a violinist, teacher, conductor, and otherwise musical goofball who enjoys writing music. Seriously, I have been writing classical music for close to 20 years, or around the time I went to music school, but until the last few years (away from the hectic life of a student or poor musician) I never took it seriously enough to complete anything. Obviously Sibelius makes it quite a bit easier than when I was hand writing the music, but also, I have taken to composing more over the last five or six years.
While I am trained as a violinist, I have been enjoying writing for more diverse ensembles (mainly in chamber music). My music tends to be quite tonal, but with rhythmic complexities here and there. I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoyed writing it.
UPDATE 3/25/2008: I've updated this text/site for the first time in a while. I've recently moved and am now back on the music train, so to speak. I'll be uploading some new stuff out of the archives soon, as well as getting some new projects underway. Thanks for stopping by!br>
